Description
We're hiring an Outreach Coordinator for a full-time, weekday role in Dallas, TX 75234. This position is ideal for professionals with optometric or ophthalmic clinic experience who enjoy working in the community, supporting outreach events, and coordinating volunteers and providers onsite.
You'll play a key role in organizing programs, communicating with diverse teams, traveling locally as needed, and supporting meaningful outreach initiatives. Nonprofit experience and a Class B license (or ability to obtain one) are strong pluses.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $22.09/hr

Coordinate and support community outreach events, including onsite clinics and programs.

Direct and support onsite volunteers and healthcare providers during events.

Communicate clearly with internal teams, partners, and external stakeholders.

Travel locally and regionally (up to 25%) to support outreach activities.

Prepare reports, schedules, and materials using Microsoft Office tools.

Maintain compliance with safety, dress code, and physical activity requirements.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.

Optometric or Ophthalmic clinic practice experience (required).

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to pass background and driving checks.

Comfortable directing onsite volunteers and providers.

Willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time and work occasional weekends or non-traditional hours with notice.

PC proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Strong verbal and written communication skills; bilingual preferred.

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and remain active throughout the shift.

Nonprofit experience.

Optical, healthcare, or retail industry background.

Class B driver's license or ability to pass written and practical examination.

Strong cultural awareness and ability to work with diverse populations.
