Bell International Laboratories is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Validation Scientist to lead critical qualification and validation activities for our Over-the-Counter (OTC) products, including sunscreens and skincare formulations. What You'll Bring to the Table:
- A solid background in the pharmaceutical or personal care industry, with experience in validation systems
- Knowledge of Facility, Utility, Equipment Qualification, Process Validation, and Cleaning Validation requirements
- Familiarity with Computer System Validation and risk assessment methodologies
- Strong technical, regulatory, and documentation skills
- Project management capabilities with the ability to lead validation initiatives from start to finish
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across teams
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Bonus Points:
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification
- Experience with audit preparations and corrective action implementation
- Knowledge of FDA regulations, cGMP standards, and OTC monograph compliance
- Prior experience supporting process trials, pilot batches, and equipment selection
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, physical science, or a related field
- Minimum of 3+ years of validation experience in the pharmaceutical or personal care sector, including at least 1 year in OTC manufacturing
- Demonstrated success managing validation projects and maintaining compliance with industry standards
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 30 pounds, and perform physical tasks related to validation activities
- Flexibility to adapt in a fast-changing environment
- Willingness to work collaboratively across departments and at all organizational levels
