What's a typical day as Operator 1, Manufacturing? You'll be:
- Operating processing and packaging equipment, including balances, labelers, band sealers, pumps, and filtration systems.
- Weighing, measuring, and checking raw materials using a computer interface to ensure batches contain the proper materials and quantities.
- Calibrating and operating semi-automated and automated manufacturing equipment, while performing in-process sampling and testing to meet specifications.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a High School Diploma from an accredited institution (Associate degree or higher preferred).
- Are open to entry-level candidates; previous experience is not necessary, but laboratory exposure is a plus.
- Possess good computational, multi-tasking, and time management skills, with the ability to work under time constraints and adapt to changing priorities.
