Description

Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager in their Commerce,Ga Facility for a Direct Hire opportunity. Those who have strong communication and organizational skills are highly sought, able to direct the Plant to maintain a strong and loyal workforce, work to cut costs, improve efficiency, as well as develop systems throughout.
Other Duties as Required:

  • Instills a Continuous improvement mentality through the facility and to the team
  • Recommend and implement cost reductions
  • Maintains quality service by enforcing SOPs and implementing LEAN manufacturing processes,
  • Ensures operation of equipment by overseeing Maintenance department for repairs, evaluating new equipment, techniques, and CAPEX needs,
  • Provides manufacturing information by compiling and analyzing production performance records and data.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, relentlessly execute, and deliver results in conformance with action plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and adapt to changing situations and priorities easily.
  • Solid understanding of financial metrics with the ability to work with stakeholders for operation improvements and asset allocation.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required; preferably in Industrial, Mechanical, or a related engineering field, or 8+ years' experience in manufacturing setting is required
  • Extensive training in manufacturing processes
  • Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma Certification are all highly desired.
