Job Title: Program Coordinator - Oncology
Location: Near Downtown Dallas

Job Summary: The Program Coordinator is responsible for managing oncology special projects, weekly conferences, research activities, and other treatment center initiatives. The Program Coordinator will handle calendar management, documentation, and scheduling to help grow the Cancer Program and improve its outreach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Cancer Conferences: Manage the scheduling and logistics for 15 cancer-specific conferences per month, ensuring doctors from various specialities can review patient cases. Responsible for organizing documentation, communication, and conference materials. Oversee up to 250 conferences annually.
  • Accreditation Compliance: Ensure that the Cancer Program adheres to the American College of Surgeon's accreditation guidelines.
  • Meeting Coordination: Plan and manage meetings for oncology research and treatment teams, including marketing and outreach strategies aimed at expanding the Cancer Program.
  • Calendar Management: Maintain detailed calendars for cancer conferences, ensuring all logistics and schedules are updated, and participants are informed.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with inpatient oncology units, medical staff, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless program activities and follow-up
  • Project Management: Oversee special projects related to research, education, and clinical trials, with a focus on task completion and documentation
  • Data Collection: Track participant involvement in conferences and manage reporting for research and quality improvement efforts.
  • Communication & Professionalism: Communicate effectively with high-level professionals, including doctors and donors.

Qualifications:

  • Highly Organized: Must be extremely detail-oriented, task-driven, and able to manage checklists independently.
  • Self-Starter: Must work well independently, without needing close supervision, and able to proactively manage multiple tasks.
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, public health, business administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in program coordination or project management (preferably in healthcare or oncology).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Teams, with experience in managing complex schedules and projects.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with medical professionals and executive-level personnel.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, professional environment.
  • Resilient, reliable, and able to handle pressure in a high-stakes environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong project management skills, especially related to organizing conferences and meetings.
