Job Title: Material Handler II 
Location: Byhalia, Mississippi
Position Type: Temporary
Bill Rate: $20 per hour

Summary:
The Material Handler II is responsible for safely and accurately moving products through the distribution center while adhering to all safety and company policies. This role also emphasizes maintaining a positive work environment through effective communication.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process orders by verifying and applying stickers for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Distribute product weight on trailers as per load plans.
• Utilize Radio Frequency Terminal/Scan gun for product processing.
• Operate Powered Industrial Equipment for material transport.
• Comply with all regulatory and safety procedures, including handling spills and damages.
• Prepare and load materials according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Participate in continuous improvement projects related to safety, quality, service, and cost.
• Maintain documentation, including daily inspections and inventory discrepancies.

Physical Requirements:

• Standing: 85%
• Sitting: 10%
• Kneeling/Stooping/Crouching: 5% each
• Lifting: Maximum of 65 lbs
• Walking: 35%

Qualifications:

• Required: High School Diploma or GED; experience in operating Powered Industrial Equipment; basic math skills; ability to read and understand instructions.
• Vision and Hearing: Must pass vision (minimum 20/40) and hearing examinations.
• Other: Employees must adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and follow all health and safety procedures.
• Available for all shifts
