Warehouse Associate

Location: University Commercial Pl, Charlotte, NC 28213
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Shift: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations in Charlotte. This role involves receiving shipments, picking and packing orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a safe and organized warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments; verify contents against packing lists
• Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (training provided if required)
• Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials in stock
• Record and track inventory locations
• Conduct cycle counts and inventory checks as directed
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory discrepancies or needs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods
• Basic math and computer skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills

Working Conditions

• Warehouse environment with moderate noise levels
• May require overtime or weekend work depending on operational needs
