Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $21.30 an hour
Schedule: 7:00 pm - 7:10 am - One week 48 hours and the following week 36 hours

What's a typical day as a Material Handler? You'll be:
  • Feeding and removing materials from machines or equipment, ensuring all processes run smoothly.
  • Inspecting materials and finished products for defects and confirming conformance to specifications.
  • Filling hoppers with materials and products using hand tools and moving devices.
  • Keeping material feeders and color mix barrels full and placing materials inside mixers for blending.
  • Performing general clean-up tasks to maintain a safe, debris-free work area.
  • Removing obstructions using proper safety equipment and following all company safety protocols.
  • Maintaining and changing rolls of fiberglass tape as needed.
  • Following written or oral instructions regarding daily tasks and duties.
  • Operating pallet jacks and sit-down forklifts, ensuring all assigned equipment is kept in good working condition.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Are at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Can communicate clearly and effectively in English.
  • Have prior forklift or manufacturing experience (required).
  • Are able to read and follow paper instructions and labeling requirements.
  • Are willing to work a 12-hour rotating shift and overtime as required.
  • Can perform repetitive, continuous work as part of a team.
  • Are physically able to frequently bend, push, pull, reach, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Have excellent hand-eye coordination and can work safely in a loud, indoor environment that is not climate-controlled.
