Job Title: Material Coordinator
Location: Grovetown, GA (Onsite)
Assignment Length: 12 Months (As a W2 employee of KellyOCG)
Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour
Shift Information: 1st Shift, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM EST, with overtime opportunity

Position Overview:
As a Material Coordinator for Commercial Products in Grovetown, you'll play a key role in ensuring materials are delivered to the production point of use on time and inventory flows smoothly through the factory. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, tackle shortages, and help drive continuous improvement on the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate delivery of materials to Points of Use
- Communicate part availability issues and solutions to operations and stakeholders
- Utilize SAP transactions to support all aspects of material delivery
- Work critical shortage reports to ensure part availability
- Partner with operations, engineering, supply management, and material flow teams to resolve shortages, inventory discrepancies, reporting and consumption issues
- Implement changes driven by the engineering release and change management process
- Actively support continuous improvement initiatives and shop floor projects
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- 2+ years of experience working in a team environment, delivering results
- Proven organizational skills managing multiple projects or tasks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; skill in building effective working relationships
- Effective in documentation, planning, and decision-making
- Willing and able to work extended hours and Saturdays as needed to support production schedules
What Makes You Stand Out (Desired):
- SAP experience
- Experience with Order Fulfillment, Supply Management, or Material Flow processes
- Ability to work proactively in a self-guided environment
- Data analytics/reporting and Root Cause Analysis experience
- Knowledge of Kanban and other delivery methods
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and factory operations
- Experience leading meetings and presenting to groups
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering/Technology, Supply Management, or a related field
- OR at least 3 years of relevant work experience
