Manufacturing Process Transfer Engineer
- Contract Duration: 9 months - Estimated to end 9/2026 (potential for extension)
- Location: 100% Onsite in Chandler, AZ (85226)
- Type: W2 contract (NO C2C OR THIRD PARTY)
- Pay Rate – Negotiable depending on DIRECT-related experience up to $50 - $55 an hour
- Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Work Authorization: Must be physically located in United States and have United States employment authorization documents WITHOUT CURRENT OR FUTURE sponsorship requirements. Sponsorship is NOT available NOW or in the FUTURE for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage a product line end-to-end, overseeing all stages from development through implementation
- Design and validate manufacturing processes being transferred to the new location
- Specify precise product functional requirements; design, test, and integrate manufacturing processes and fixtures
- Evaluate processes for effectiveness, cost efficiency, reliability, and safety
- Develop, execute, and document process validation plans
- Create and review material part specifications and bills of materials
- Collaborate with internal manufacturing partners, contract manufacturers, and designers to optimize designs for manufacturability
- Utilize CAD (Computer Aided Design) or CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) systems to review and modify existing engineering drawings and designs
- Prepare and review technical documentation related to validation and product management activities
- Work comfortably with manufacturing equipment in a hands-on environment
- Apply technical aptitude to troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance manufacturing operations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with equipment validation
- Strong technical aptitude
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and equipment
- Proficiency in CAD/CAE systems
