What's a typical day as a Maintenance Technician II You'll be:
- Frequency Drives, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Servo Motors, Refrigeration systems (NH3), Boiler systems, and HVAC systems. Discuss and resolve any discrepancies with the production resource leader
- Read and interpret blue prints, drawings and manuals.
- Lay out work and estimate materials and costs.
- Design, build, construct, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, set up or adjust machinery, equipment, parts, vehicles or structures.
- Working on preventative maintenance on machinery.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- A 2-year technical degree in a related field or equivalent on the job experience
- Must possess a high level of machine troubleshooting ability in a manufacturing environment including but not limited to: Allen Bradley PLC's,
- Food Manufacturing experience, Sanitary Design experience, and knowledge of SIX SIGMA techniques such as 5-S would be a plus.
- Must have strong mechanical and electrical aptitude*Must operate with a high degree of proficiency with little or no supervision, particularly as such involves the specific trade area.
- Required to work independently in carrying out generalized instructions pertaining to operations of the Maintenance Department under the direction of management.
- Ability to work an alternative work schedule and shifts.
- Maintain records and inventories as required and keep an orderly and clean work area.
- Perform miscellaneous related duties as assigned.
