Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $30.00/hour

What's a typical day as Maintenance Technician? You'll be:
- Maintaining machinery and equipment in the molding and assembly department according to manufacturer instructions and company procedures
- Executing preventive and predictive maintenance tasks on plant equipment, including chillers, dryers, compressors, cooling towers, HVAC, lighting, and pumping systems
- Filling out maintenance activity forms and maintaining order and cleanliness (5S)
- Performing corrective maintenance and supporting the movement and installation of machinery
- Developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives using kaizen methodology and PPI tools
- Disassembling, repairing, and reassembling mechanical devices, and fabricating parts using drill presses, grinders, welders, mills, lathes, and other metal working tools
- Following all safety and environmental rules and participating in related training sessions and talks
- Supporting environmental management by maintaining equipment, identifying hazards, and reporting environmental issues
- Requires High school diploma or equivalent
- Requires 3+ years of experience in maintenance to IMM and or plastic industry equipment or equivalent
- Must possess personal hand tools and a toolbox
- Can operate a wide range of mechanical and metal working tools
- Are knowledgeable about preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance practices
- Have experience with 5S, kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies (preferred)
- Can work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Are committed to environmental safety and operational integrity
- Comfortable accessing restricted areas and applying safety procedures (e.g., LOTO)
