Now Hiring: 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician
Location: East Tawas, MI
Shift: 3rd Shift | 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Sunday–Thursday)
Pay Range: $20.00 – $29.55/hr (based on experience)
Join a reputable and safety-focused manufacturing facility as a Maintenance Technician on our 3rd shift team. This full-time, direct hire opportunity offers competitive pay, hands-on technical work, and room for growth.

Position Overview:
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on a wide range of manufacturing equipment. Your duties will span mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely install, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment and systems
  • Perform mechanical, electrical, plumbing, welding/fabrication, HVAC, and rigging tasks
  • Oversee and guide contractors or service vendors as needed
  • Maintain shop tools, organization, and process instrument calibration requirements
  • Order parts, schedule maintenance tasks, and document repairs and inspections
  • Ensure all activities comply with OSHA, MIOSHA, NFPA, EPA, and other safety standards
  • Uphold 6S, housekeeping, and leadership model values
  • Be available for overtime and flexible responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; Technical certificate or 2-year degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant industrial maintenance experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
  • Experience in rubber/plastic extrusion or molding is a plus
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office; SolidWorks or MasterCam is a bonus
  • Forklift, aerial lift, or lift truck experience preferred
  • Able to read blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals (metric/imperial)
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and adhere to safety protocols (PPE required)
