Job Specifications:
- Job Type: Full-time, Direct Hire
- Location: Petersburg, VA
- Pay Rate: $35/hr
- Shift: 1st
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Inspect, repair, troubleshoot, remove, install, operate, and assemble complex systems such as pumps, motors, and compressors.
- Replace electrical bucket components and perform wiring for motors and lights.
- Remove, replace, and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical valves; install electronic and mechanical instrumentation devices.
- Cut, thread, and fit piping systems as needed.
- Operate various tools, including hand, pneumatic, and electric tools, as well as welders.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate repairs and installations.
- Follow all safety guidelines and complete incident reports as necessary.
- Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to use computers effectively.
- Strong ability to work with limited supervision.
- Preferred: Proximity to the work site (Petersburg/Prince George/Colonial Heights).
- Knowledge of electrical components and connections, as well as safety compliance.
