Job Title: Machine Operator/ Mechanic Operator
Location: Añasco, Puerto Rico
Job Posting Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Machine Operator/ Mechanic Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and operating manufacturing equipment, including Lathes and PEGS, according to established procedures. You will perform cleaning and adjustments to equipment, ensuring a continuous flow of units throughout the manufacturing process. This position requires collaboration with a diverse work team to complete both repetitive and non-repetitive tasks.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate manufacturing equipment, such as lathes and PEGS, in accordance with established procedures.
- Perform routine cleaning and equipment adjustments as necessary.
- Ensure the process maintains a continuous flow of units by executing all related tasks effectively.
- Operate general manufacturing equipment, including lathe cutting machines, microscopes, comparators, and optical benches.
- When necessary, execute the setup and adjust parameters of manufacturing machines/equipment to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Adhere to environmental policies and procedures while supporting departmental environmental objectives.
Experience & Education:
- Technical certification in electronics, electricity, refrigeration, or mechanics from an accredited institution is required; certification in a related discipline is also acceptable.
- An associate degree is preferred but not required.
- Completion of certification with at least one year of general experience is required.
- Previous experience as a Manufacturing Operator or in a similar position is preferred.
- Experience with the setup and adjustment of manufacturing machines/equipment, including cutting machines, microscopes, comparators, optical benches, and interferometers, is highly desirable.
