We're seeking Machine Operator to work in a leading global manufacturer of transit packaging consumables, tools, and equipment, specializing in securing, bundling, and protecting products during transport.

Why you should apply to be a Machine Operator:
Day Shift: Sun - Thurs 8PM-6AM
Duration: 3-months contract
Current pay rate is $22.70/HR

What's a typical day as a Machine Operator. You'll be: 

  • Set up, adjust, and operate production line machinery to fulfill customer orders, ensuring accurate configuration based on work order specifications.
  • Monitor machine operations, gauges, and controls to maintain safety, consistency, product quality, and efficient production.
  • Perform regular quality checks on finished products using measuring tools (tape, calipers, gauges) and promptly respond to any equipment malfunctions.
  • Accurately complete and maintain documentation related to production performance, waste, downtime, and machine maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area according to the 6S process and collaborate with the team to support all aspects of production.

Requirements: 
High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred, but not always required).

  • 6–12 months of experience operating machinery or related production equipment.
  • Ability to use small hand tools and basic measuring devices.
  • Strong focus on safety, team collaboration, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to listen to instructions, learn on the job, and work in a fast-paced environment.


This job might be an outstanding fit if you have: 
Prior experience using machine calipers, gauges, or other precision measurement tools.

  • Familiarity with the 6S/5S organizational processes or other lean manufacturing principles.
  • Experience working in a team-based production setting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and documentation.
  • Flexibility to take direction from multiple supervisors or team leads.
