Logistics Coordinator - Hybrid

Pay: $28 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday  (Hybrid: Deerfield 3 days a week)
Location: Deerfield, IL 60015
Position Type: Temp to hire

What's a typical day as Logistics Coordinator? You'll be:
  • Planning delivery routes for home dialysis patients, hospitals, and dialysis centers using Baxter's private fleet and third-party vendors
  • Utilizing a computer routing system to optimize order routing, pick-ups, and redeliveries for cost efficiency and excellent customer service
  • Analyzing data to make informed recommendations and maintain computerized routing environments
  • Communicating effectively with customer service, warehouse staff, and field personnel to meet productivity goals
  • Managing regional budget/forecast commitments and maintaining driver schedules
  • Developing and submitting weekly analytical progress reports


This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have excellent communication and analytical skills, and can work well in a team environment
  • Are capable of multitasking, problem-solving, and making decisions independently
  • Possess good working knowledge of PC systems
  • Have 1-3 years of experience in distribution and/or transportation (preferred)
  • Hold a high school degree or equivalent
