Logistics Coordinator
Job Summary:
This vital role within our Administrative department requires a self-motivated individual who can thrive in an independent work environment. You will collaborate with various teams, including the aftermarket business group, project managers, customs agents, and warehouse staff, to ensure seamless shipping, receiving, and recordkeeping for both domestic and international transactions. Job Specifications:
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Location: Appleton, WI
- Pay Rate: $23 to $26/HR
- Shift: Standard Office Hours
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare all shipping documents for domestic and international shipments.
- Utilize an internal database to create transportation inquiries and orders.
- Receive and verify packing slips upon arrival of goods.
- Label incoming goods with appropriate identification for projects and customer orders.
- Ensure project inventory is maintained accurately.
- Prepare outgoing shipments to customers, including taking pictures of goods.
- Create shipping labels, delivery notes, and packing slips for outgoing shipments.
- Communicate with freight forwarders and coordinate changes with trucking companies as needed.
- Notify customers of incoming shipment arrivals and verify product delivery.
- Ensure all shipping documents are processed correctly and saved in Autodesk VAULT.
- Collaborate with Aftermarket, Production/Sourcing, and Project Managers regarding order statuses.
- Undertake additional tasks/projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or higher in a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in logistics is required.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and document control.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication across departments.
- Capability to lift 40-50 lbs.
- Proficient in MS Office / O365.
