Linehaul Support Administrator (Administrative Assistant)

Based at our Pittsburgh General Headquarters (PGH), you'll provide invaluable administrative support to Linehaul operations, partnering with field teams, internal departments, external vendors, and government agencies. Job Specifications:

  • Job Type: Administrative Assistant (Full-Time)
  • Location: Pittsburgh General Headquarters (PGH)
  • Pay Rate: $20/hr-$24/hr
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Facilitate contractor tractor addition and approval, including base plate registration and renewals.
  • Manage titling and registration for company-owned and rental trailer equipment.
  • Audit and distribute toll cards/transponders and monitor their usage accuracy.
  • Enter and administer approved routes in the Transportation Management System (TMS).
  • Execute CSM audit tests to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Reconcile, validate, and process toll invoices and citations for payment.
  • Order and distribute necessary vehicle permits and handle annual renewals.
  • Compile, collect, and report purchase cost data for management and accounting on a routine basis.
  • Provide prompt and courteous telephone support for field teams and contractors.
  • Collaborate with PGH departments, other OpCos, and field operations to advance Linehaul activities.
Qualifications & Skills
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience—ideal for recent graduates or administrative professionals seeking growth!
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based tools.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills and a keen eye for accurate tracking and monitoring of operational data.
