Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5:00pm

Pay rate: up to $48/hr

This position is ONSITE in Torrance, CA, MUST be able to commute to Torrance, CA

1 day in office until October 2025, then 4 days in office, 1 day virtual after October 

This is a Contract – The duration of the assignment will be at a minimum to the end of our FY (3/31/26) but possibly in the next FY.

Roles and Responsibilities:
This assignment will play a part in shaping the capabilities of our associates and leaders, ensuring they are equipped to perform successfully in their current and future roles. Your expertise will be instrumental in fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. This assignment is responsible for effectively managing communications for multiple development programs, organizing logistics for various in person and virtual training events, creating materials, and managing vendor relationships.  This position is also responsible for supporting Onboarding and Training processes for new people at the company and other duties as assigned to support the needs of the department and/or organization. 

Daily Tasks:

  • Revise and craft engaging and informative educational materials to supplement and reinforce learning experiences.
  • Identify ways to streamline and improve existing and new development programs.
  • Draft and send communications for development programs, ensuring clear, timely, and effective dissemination of information to all stakeholders and participants.
  • Oversee the logistical aspects of training sessions, workshops, and seminars, including scheduling, venue arrangements, catering, and participant management.
  • Efficiently manage and uphold precise records of training class completions, including updates and communication of the completion status to the appropriate parties.
  • Facilitate a seamless integration of new hires into AHFC's culture and processes through comprehensive onboarding and training.
  • Act as the primary contact for the eLearning vendor and ensure deadlines are being met on projects.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree required or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate multiple people for meetings and working sessions
  • Experience managing instructional design projects and eLearning vendor partners
  • Strong planning and organizing skills to handle multiple project deliverables
  • Detail-oriented and able to analyze problems and recommend creative solutions
  • Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory is preferred
  • Proficient in eLearning software Articulate Storyline and Vyond. 
  • Instructional Design experience preferred
