Job Title Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) / Quality Engineer – Power Generation Function Data Center and Other Power Generation Projects Location USA (with opportunities for international travel) About Us Join an industry leader in innovative engineering solutions for large-scale power generation projects. We specialize in designing and constructing high-performance power systems for data centers and other mission-critical applications. As we expand our footprint, we are seeking an experienced ITP Quality Engineer with a background in power generation to ensure our projects meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. Data center experience is a plus but not required. Job Purpose Manage all aspects of project deliverables in terms of quality, planning, assurance, and control while meeting the individual specifications and expectations of stakeholders through the full project cycle. Initiate and implement all elements of ITP/quality documentation to ensure projects are executed with high-quality standards both on and off site. Position Overview As an ITP Quality Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in developing and implementing quality inspection and test plans (ITPs) for our power generation projects. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure all components and systems are inspected, tested, and verified to meet industry standards and project specifications. A strong technical background in power generation and a dedication to maintaining project quality and integrity are essential. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and Quality Assurance plans for power generation projects.
- Oversee inspection, testing, and verification activities to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct regular quality audits, monitor processes, and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, and contractors to resolve quality-related issues effectively and efficiently.
- Review and verify supplier and contractor quality documentation to ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Document and report quality performance, including discrepancies, corrective actions, and improvements.
- Support the commissioning and startup phases to ensure systems meet operational requirements.
- Proficiency in IT skills, including Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project.
- Strong coaching and mentoring abilities.
- Logical thinking and the ability to find creative, pragmatic solutions to complex problems.
- The ability to set and monitor team targets and objectives.
- A willingness to provide feedback for performance improvement.

- Familiarity with general electrical installation principles.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience with large-scale power generation projects in an engineering environment.
- Knowledge of the Construction Design and Management Regulations 2015.
- Competent understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, and other relevant software.
- A solid technical background with knowledge of CHP, Controls, Absorbers, Gas Trains, SCR's, Exhaust Gas Heat Exchangers & Silencers, and Cooling System Radiators.
- Experience with renewable energy.
- Degree/HND/HNC in engineering.
- Project Management qualification.
- Experience using Procore construction software.
