Job Opportunity: Inventory Control Specialist | Pooler, GA
Pay Rate: $19/hour
Location: Pooler, GA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Control Specialist for our Pooler, GA warehouse. In this pivotal role, you'll use your inventory expertise and familiarity with systems like D365 or SAP (preferred) to maintain accurate records, manage inventory, and support returns and inbound operations.
Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain consistent stock of inventory, ordering new items up to pre-authorized limits as needed
  • Set up and maintain backup supply sources for in-demand products
  • Review inventory reports and order patterns to identify items needing recurring deliveries
  • Provide inventory updates and reports to purchasing and inventory control managers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors
  • Keep accurate daily records of all goods received and shipments sent
  • Manage and maintain computerized inventory systems, including upgrades in coordination with management
  • Conduct regular spot checks and cycle-count programs to eliminate variances and support annual physical inventories
  • Operate forklift trucks as needed (certification preferred)
  • Manage workflow processes for returns and inbound shipments
  • Lead inbound/receiving teams and process incoming receipts using warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned
Requirements & Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience with computerized inventory systems required; D365 or SAP experience preferred
  • Proven data entry and proficient keyboarding skills
  • Basic understanding of inventory control procedures and math calculations
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills with team members, purchasing, and vendors
  • Ability to build professional vendor relationships
Physical Requirements
  • Able to sit for extended periods and work on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds as needed
  • Comfortable navigating a warehouse and reaching items on various heights
