What's a typical day as an Interior Installation Tech I???????? You will:
-
Safely perform aircraft removal, installation, and/or fabrication of aircraft interior components, including galleys, closets, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, doors, and vanity ledge fill panels.

Coordinate with supervision and Inspection to ensure compliance with Repair Station procedures, internal requirements, and FAA documentation, sign-offs, and quality specifications.

Complete fit and installation tasks in accordance with work order instructions and specifications.

Utilize the material tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks, and complete required paperwork sign-offs.
-
Follow standard operating procedures when using tools and equipment, including hand tools, band saws, shears, sanders, and brakes.

Properly care for and maintain shop equipment and tools.

Comply with all safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies, and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Identify and address unsafe conditions to prevent risk to personnel or property.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Application installation, fabrication or related experience or trade school preferred.

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
-
Able to work any shift.
-
Able to climb ladders and stairs, work in small restricted areas, and lift up to 40 pounds.

Ability to use measuring tools and perform basic math computations.
-
Must be computer literate.
