  • Pay Rate: $23.32/hr
  • Location: Savannah, GA
  • Schedule: 1st Shift - 06:00 - 4:30PM
  • Employment Type: Contract, 48 months

 

What's a typical day as an Interior Installation Tech I???????? You will:

  • Safely perform aircraft removal, installation, and/or fabrication of aircraft interior components, including galleys, closets, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, doors, and vanity ledge fill panels. 

  • Coordinate with supervision and Inspection to ensure compliance with Repair Station procedures, internal requirements, and FAA documentation, sign-offs, and quality specifications. 

  • Complete fit and installation tasks in accordance with work order instructions and specifications. 

  • Utilize the material tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks, and complete required paperwork sign-offs. 

  • Follow standard operating procedures when using tools and equipment, including hand tools, band saws, shears, sanders, and brakes. 

  • Properly care for and maintain shop equipment and tools. 

  • Comply with all safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies, and use required personal protective equipment (PPE). 

  • Identify and address unsafe conditions to prevent risk to personnel or property. 

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

  • High School Diploma or GED required. 

  • Application installation, fabrication or related experience or trade school preferred. 

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. 

  • Able to work any shift. 

  • Able to climb ladders and stairs, work in small restricted areas, and lift up to 40 pounds. 

  • Ability to use measuring tools and perform basic math computations. 

  • Must be computer literate.
