Location: Brantford, ON
Starting Wage: $45.48 per hour plus shift premiums
About the Role
We are seeking Industrial Millwrights to join our client a food manufacturer located in Brantford, ON. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and troubleshoot and repair of food processing equipment
- Optimize equipment safety, food safety, and reliability including the support of preventative maintenance initiatives
- Participate in continuous improvement projects including the installation and commissioning of machinery
- Perform equipment change-over and production line set ups
- Welding, machining and fabricating where qualified and maintain high sanitation standards, housekeeping and cleanliness of the maintenance shop – preferable
- Compliance to regulations and procedures to maintain the highest levels of health and safety, food safety, GMPs and HACCP
- Valid Millwright Certification (e.g., 433A).
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to work rotating shifts to support a continuous operation. Work schedule 12-hour continental shift or 8 hour, 3 shift rotation
