Industrial Maintenance Mechanic – West Monroe, LA
Pay Range: $20–$30/hr
Shifts Available: 2nd & 3rd Shift
Join a global industry leader specializing in engineered solutions and precision services for paper production equipment. This facility supports the maintenance and repair of small to large-scale paper machine rolls that play a critical role in the production of paper products used worldwide.
Responsibilities Include:-
Perform setup, disassembly/reassembly, inspection, and repair of paper machine rolls—ranging from small to massive industrial components.

Apply best practices for maintaining mechanical assemblies and meet high-quality standards.

Utilize mechanical tools and systems including:
-
Drills, taps, pullers, bearing heaters, presses
-
Hydraulic testing units
-
Overhead cranes (60-ton & 100-ton capacity)
Interpret equipment function and operation related to paper machine roll systems.
Ensure safe, efficient work while maintaining top-tier service standards.
Be dependable with strong attendance and flexibility to work overtime or different shifts as needed.
Willingly cross-train and take on additional duties as needed.
Ideal Candidate:-
Has hands-on experience in industrial or heavy equipment maintenance.

Or is a motivated trainee ready to learn and meet job requirements through training and mentorship.

Has a strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to safety and precision.

Comfortable working in a heavy manufacturing environment with large machinery.
