Industrial Maintenance Mechanic – West Monroe, LA

Pay Range: $20–$30/hr
Shifts Available: 2nd & 3rd Shift

Join a global industry leader specializing in engineered solutions and precision services for paper production equipment. This facility supports the maintenance and repair of small to large-scale paper machine rolls that play a critical role in the production of paper products used worldwide.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Perform setup, disassembly/reassembly, inspection, and repair of paper machine rolls—ranging from small to massive industrial components.

  • Apply best practices for maintaining mechanical assemblies and meet high-quality standards.

  • Utilize mechanical tools and systems including:

  • Drills, taps, pullers, bearing heaters, presses

  • Hydraulic testing units

  • Overhead cranes (60-ton & 100-ton capacity)

  • Interpret equipment function and operation related to paper machine roll systems.

  • Ensure safe, efficient work while maintaining top-tier service standards.

  • Be dependable with strong attendance and flexibility to work overtime or different shifts as needed.

  • Willingly cross-train and take on additional duties as needed.

    Ideal Candidate:
    • Has hands-on experience in industrial or heavy equipment maintenance.

    • Or is a motivated trainee ready to learn and meet job requirements through training and mentorship.

    • Has a strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to safety and precision.

    • Comfortable working in a heavy manufacturing environment with large machinery.
