Pay Rate: $32-40/hr
Shift: 1st shift
What's a typical day as an Industrial Electrician? You'll be:
• Performing preventative maintenance tasks, including completion of all related documentation.
• Troubleshooting and maintaining PLCs and variable speed drive controlled equipment.
• Troubleshooting equipment process controls, instrumentation, and calibration.
• Installing, bending, and running conduit and wiring, rigid aluminum and emt.
• Comprehending and verifying wiring diagrams.
• Assisting with project planning, equipment upgrades, modification, and new installation.
• Performing mechanical work, valve replacement, bearing replacement, and motor & gearbox replacement.
• Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing controllers including hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Providing assistance to facility, line, machine, mechanics, and operators.
• Providing essential documentation and completing research for root cause analysis when needed.
• Affirming maintenance role in the HACCP procedure along with all other departments.
• Assessing and functioning effectively in an ever-changing environment.
• Being on call or able to reply to calls after hours.
• Communicating between multiple departments in scheduling work.
• Maintaining a clean work area.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have electrical and mechanical ability as defined.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Have demonstrated work experience in an industrial environment.
• Have technical school training in the form of certified courses, technical degree, or related experience.
• Have facility and facility support equipment training or experience.
• Have refrigeration and/or ammonia refrigeration experience or training.
• Have appropriate English language ability to read and interpret documents and write routine reports.
• Have the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
• Have the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
