What's a typical day as an Industrial Buyer? You'll be:
- Managing purchase orders based on inventory levels and production demand using a fully integrated ERP system.
- Running and analyzing ERP status reports to ensure adequate material availability for projected production needs.
- Reviewing and processing purchase requisitions, ensuring the procurement of high-quality components at the most cost-effective pricing.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Hold a degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Have a minimum of 3 years of purchasing experience within a custom equipment manufacturing environment.
- Are proficient with ERP/MRP systems, preferably Epicor 10, and possess strong computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
