Location: Chicago, IL - Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Pay Rate: $60 to $65/HR depending on experience
Position Type: Temp-to-hire

Job Description:
As an Implementation Consultant, you will lead client-focused implementations of accounts, legislative, and regulatory initiatives within sales operations and product development. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance, fostering key partnerships across relevant business areas, and coordinating implementation responses. This role requires a proactive individual who can identify opportunities for improving efficiencies and processes, and then implement those solutions.
Essential Functions:

  • Lead all activities of account, product, and legislative implementations, including coordinating process change reviews, tracking compliance progress, and developing business cases.
  • Facilitate meetings with departmental and inter-departmental teams to identify issues, gather data, brainstorm solutions, and share findings.
  • Create implementation scopes and strategies, including complex project plans and business plans.
  • Manage projects and resources, and maintain key partnerships with related business areas.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on implementation to internal and external customers.
  • Proactively communicate with team members, management, and stakeholders, offering solutions to known issues and providing real-time project status updates.
  • Create reports and presentations to support the overall delivery and execution of client, business, and operational requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver materials that raise awareness, provide education and training, and deliver recommendations to account executives, clients, and management.
  • Consult, communicate, and interact professionally with co-workers, management, and customers.
  • Accompany account executives on service calls to explain benefit options, product features, and legislation issues.
  • Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, and other applicable policies.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of Business Consultant/ Project (or Program) Management experience required (Regulatory Consultant, Business Consultant titles are applicable)
  • Experience in Fortune 500, Consulting, or other enterprise implementation environments.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulatory and legislative processes, the healthcare market, products, and corporate operations.
  • Knowledge of product, marketing, sales, and claims adjudication.
  • Excellent written, presentation, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience serving as a thought leader in enterprise implementations and leading cross-functional workgroups.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Financial and budget management experience.
  • Ability to work independently and in group settings, and to respond to rapidly changing priorities.
  • Experience identifying complex risks and issues, developing risk mitigation strategies, and resolving issues.
  • Conflict management and resolution skills.
  • Flexibility and responsiveness, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Initiative and ability to drive results and meet deadlines.
  • Analytical skills and experience applying business knowledge to solve problems.
  • Experience with requirement gathering, translating and documentation of business decisions (sometimes referred to as business requirements)
  • Experience with facilitating and managing stakeholder meetings and/or workgroups
  • Experience with presenting to Senior Leadership
Preferred Job Requirements:
  • Experience managing the client implementation experience.
  • Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of healthcare marketplace trends related to product, service, and economy.
  • Knowledge of state and federal legislative processes.
  • Healthcare experience preferred, but not necessarily required
