Basic Function:
The Implementation Consultant is responsible for leading client-focused implementations of accounts, legislative, and regulatory initiatives within sales operations and product management. This role involves implementing complex account and legislative initiatives, monitoring compliance, and forming key partnerships with various business areas to ensure a coordinated response to support solutions. The consultant will work across all business areas that impact the client experience, developing business cases, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements, and implementing effective solutions.

Pay rate $67.50/per hour

Essential Functions:

  • Lead all activities related to account, product, and legislative implementations, including coordination of process change reviews, tracking compliance progress, and developing business cases for new implementations.
  • Facilitate one-on-one and group discussions with team members to identify issues, gather data, and develop implementation strategies, including creating complex project plans.
  • Serve as the implementation subject matter expert for internal and external customers.
  • Proactively communicate with teams, management, and stakeholders, providing multiple resolutions to issues and updates on project statuses.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to support the delivery of client, business, and operational requirements.
  • Consult and communicate effectively with co-workers, management, and customers.
  • Accompany account executives on service calls to explain benefit options, product features, and legislation issues, and assist during open enrollment.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, corporate integrity, and other applicable policies, ensuring confidentiality of company business.
  • Communicate regularly with management regarding developments in assigned areas and perform special projects as required.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, with 5 years of experience in business or project management.
  • Experience in Fortune 500, consulting, or enterprise implementation.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulatory processes, market trends, and corporate operations.
  • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration across departments and levels of management.
  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional workgroups and serving as a thought leader in enterprise implementations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with financial and budget management experience.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in risk identification and resolution, including collaboration with Legal or Regulatory Oversight.
  • Conflict management and resolution skills, with a proactive approach to driving results.
Preferred Job Requirements:
  • Experience managing client implementation experiences.
  • Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of healthcare marketplace trends and state and federal legislative processes, including interactions with lobbyists.
