Kelly Science has a great opportunity for a Head of Formulation Development for a growing organization focused on orally inhaled and nasal drug products in South West FL. Apply today for immediate consideration!

Salary: $230,000-$260,000/year depending on experience

Summary:

Lead and supervise laboratory activities for OINDP formulation development, adhering to regulatory guidelines and industry standards. Design and execute studies for API and excipient selection, process development, and manufacturing. Provide expert support, write regulatory documents, and contribute to project timelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead laboratory activities for OINDP formulation development, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Design and conduct studies for API, excipient, and process selection.
  • Develop manufacturing processes for OINDP products.
  • Evaluate and introduce new technologies, contribute to project timelines.
  • Write protocols, reports, and regulatory submission documents.
  • Participate in project activities and collaborate with team members.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field with 6-12 years' experience, or MS with 12+ years' experience.
  • Expertise in OINDP development and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of USP methodologies, ICH guidelines, and FDA cGMP requirements.
  • Excellent English language skills, including writing and oral communication.
