2nd Shift Forklift Operator – Box Clamp (Rincon, GA)
Hours: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM
Pay: $20.50/hr starting
Are you an experienced box clamp forklift operator looking for a rewarding new opportunity in Rincon? We are hiring for our busy warehouse and searching for skilled team members to handle materials safely and efficiently during our 2nd shift.
If you're reliable, focused on safety, and have hands-on expertise with box clamp forklift equipment, we want to hear from you! You'll work in a dynamic environment, helping to keep our operation running smoothly by moving and organizing products, preparing shipments, and supporting inventory processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate sit-down forklifts equipped with box clamp attachments to lift, move, and store merchandise
- Handle clamp and push-pull equipment for stacking items and maintaining organization
- Safely unload incoming deliveries and distribute products to the right locations
- Pick and pack orders with precision, ensuring shipment accuracy
- Transport goods from storage or staging areas into outgoing trailers
- Monitor inventory with regular cycle counts and stock rotation
- Complete equipment safety checks and report any issues immediately
- Utilize RF scanners for tracking and maintaining inventory integrity
- Support warehouse tasks such as stock audits and resolving inventory discrepancies
- Proven experience with box clamp forklifts is a must
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred
- Minimum of 3 months working with forklifts or other warehouse machinery
- Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexibility for frequent bending, stretching, and reaching throughout shifts
- Ability to work comfortably in varied warehouse conditions
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Eligibility for forklift certification
- Strong attention to detail, basic math and computer skills (Excel), and a commitment to safe practices
