Forklift Operator
Location: Columbus, IN
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Multiple Shifts Available | Overtime Available

Kelly is hiring Forklift Operators in Columbus, IN. If you have forklift experience and are comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, this opportunity offers steady hours and overtime potential.

Pay and Schedule
Pay: $18.00 per hour

Shifts Available:
•    Day Shift: 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday
•    Night Shift: 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM, Wednesday through Saturday
•    Rotating Shift:
        o    5:00 PM to 5:00 AM, Monday and Tuesday
        o    5:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Friday and Saturday

Additional Schedule Information:
•    Overtime required as needed, up to 7 days per week
•    Sunday paid at double time if working 7 consecutive days
•    May be required to train on day shift

Key Responsibilities
•    Operate forklift and other material handling equipment safely
•    Move materials, supplies, and finished goods throughout the facility
•    Load and unload truck trailers
•    Pull, pack, and stage materials for production
•    Verify part identification and labeling accuracy
•    Complete daily forklift safety inspections
•    Maintain clear aisles and clean work areas
•    Dispose of scrap materials and empty scrap hoppers
•    Pack parts according to labeling and packing instructions
•    Maintain compliance with all safety procedures

Physical Requirements
•    Lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularly
•    Occasionally exert up to 100 pounds of force
•    Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling

Qualifications
•    Valid driver's license required
•    Previous forklift experience needed
•    Ability to work in a production-paced environment
•    Strong attention to detail and accuracy
•    Basic data entry skills
•    Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
•    Effective communication skills
•    Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus
