Position: Material Handler (Tugger & Forklift Operator)
Pay Rate: $17.50/hour
Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm
Location: Franklin, TN
 

Job Summary:
Join our team as a Material Handler with Tugger and Forklift Operator skills! We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused individual ready to play an essential role in our manufacturing operations. Candidates must have prior experience with material handling equipment, be able to constantly move throughout the shift, and frequently bend to handle materials.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate tugger/ride-on pallet jacks and forklifts to transport materials throughout the facility.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks, shelves, and storage areas.
  • Bend and lift materials as needed, maintaining a high level of physical activity during the shift.
  • Stack and organize products in designated areas for easy access and efficient flow.
  • Conduct routine equipment safety checks and assist with basic maintenance.
  • Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Coordinate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
  • Assist with inventory and basic computer-based data entry as required.
Qualifications:
  • Experience with tugger and forklift (sit-down and/or stand-up) operation; valid forklift certification preferred.
  • Ability to consistently move, walk, and bend for the entire shift.
  • Strong physical stamina and capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Team-oriented, reliable, and safety-conscious.
  • Basic computer/data entry skills are a plus.
  • Good communication skills.
