What's a typical day as a Fork Lift Operator? You'll be:
  • Safely operating a forklift to transport product and raw materials throughout the facility.
  • Reading and interpreting shipping schedules, sorting orders, and staging for shipping—ensuring all items reach the correct destination.
  • Conducting pre-shift safety inspections of the forklift and fueling as required.
  • Pulling production wrap lines and consolidating orders for accurate and timely shipping.
  • Receiving items into the facility and ensuring all shipments meet customer specifications.
  • Directing warehouse attendants and operators for efficient loading/unloading processes.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by following all safety SOPs and operational guidelines.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent (or equivalent experience).
  • Possess 2-3 years of forklift operation experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of safety procedures and the ability to perform pre-shift equipment checks.
  • Can lift up to 50+ lbs, mount and dismount forklifts regularly, and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Display excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Are detail-oriented and organized, with strong analytical abilities.
  • Can work extended hours or weekends when required.
  • Are committed to regular attendance and maintaining high integrity and a strong work ethic.
