Job title- Food Production Supervisor/Lead   

Location: Clinton Township, MI 

Salary: $ 28.00 an hour  

Schedule Full time temp to hire: Monday through Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm with occasional weekends. Schedule varies based on production needs.  

 

Job Summary 
Join our team as a Food Production Supervisor/Lead to help ensure efficient daily operations in a warehouse setting. This role will manage a team of 8-12 employees per shift and ensure production runs smoothly, safely, and meets compliance with all regulatory standards.  

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead daily shift operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.  

  • Will be supervising, train, and support production staff to maintain efficiently, quality and safety.  

  • Monitor schedules, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement.  

  • Ensure meeting USDA, FDA, and MDARD regulations along with company standards. 

  • Maintain and enforce SQF (Safe Quality Food) practices.  

  • Oversee cooking, cooling, and handling procedures to meet strict food safety and quality standards.  

 

Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent  

  • Strong background in food manufacturing with hands on experience in dips, spreads, meat preparations, cooking, and cooling times.  

  • Familiarity with products such as spinach dips, queso dips, salads, chicken tawook or similar.  

  • Proven leadership experience in a fast paced production setting.  

  • Solid understanding of USDA, FDA, MDARD regulations and SQF compliance.  

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
