Quality Inspector - Kelly® Professional & Industrial  


Join Kelly Services as a Fire Safety Inspector and embark on an exciting journey in the Fire Protection industry. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside seasoned professionals, gaining hands-on experience in inspecting wet fire and dry sprinkler systems. Job Specifications:
- Location: Nashville, TN 
- Pay Rate: $19-$25 per hour (based on experience)
- Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (with a possibility of earlier start and leave time depending on needs)

Fire Safety Inspector Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist in examining sprinkler heads for proper position, condition, and identify any obstructions.
- Support in checking all visible piping, hangers, drain valves, and gauges.
- Aid in conducting water flow tests on systems, fire pumps, standpipes, and hydrants.
- Assist in testing all fire alarm devices such as smoke detectors, duct detectors, and pull stations, ensuring proper functionality.
- Ensure all tested devices report to the fire alarm panel and central station effectively.
- Perform various tests including tampers, fire pump operations, main drain tests on sprinkler systems, and dry system tripping.
- Requires extensive walking, driving, and interaction with customers.
- Support inspector in inspecting control valves for position, condition, and accessibility.
- Prepare for backflow, fire extinguisher, and Nicet tests as part of professional development.

Fire Safety Inspector Qualifications & Skills:
- No prior experience required, but it is preferred.
- Strong interest in the Fire Protection industry and a willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Physically fit and capable of engaging in walking and driving throughout the workday.
