Kelly Services, a managed solution provider , is currently seeking a Financial Analyst for a long-term engagement at one of our Global clients in Tampa, FL.  This role is a full-time, fully benefited position.

Job Description Details:
The Customer Receivables Management (CRM) Sr. Financial Analyst & Reporting is responsible for the actual reporting and forecasting of Trade Accounts Receivable, DSO and other key metrics for the J&J organizations.  The individual hired must have experience in financial statement analysis. 
 
Financial Reporting Analytics, Actuals, and Forecasting  

  • Create and present the Accounts Receivable monthly reports and metrics; calculate and explain any and all variances.
  • Calculation of DSO and provide commentary for Reporting requirements
  • Calculate and prepare reconciliations and financial entries for accounts receivable and/or related accounts.
  • Analysis to determine appropriate reserves.
  • Work with other finance business partners to determine trade account receivables for business planning and other forecast cycles.
  • Responsibility to execute Sox controls and to liaise with internal and external auditors on compliance requirements of the revenue cycle.
  • Responsible to stay up to date with changes to accounting or reporting requirements in the area of Accounts Receivable

Financial Analysis Responsibilities would include:
  • Create and maintain business analytics for the Accounts Receivable portfolio.
  • Analyze the AR/ customer portfolio to assess credit quality and risk.  Raise findings, insights, conclusions and opportunities to management. Recommend and implement actions to mitigate credit risk based on root cause, trends and drivers. Provide strategic recommendations based on financial data analysis. Improves financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.
  • Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials.
  • Identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results against financial statements results
  • Experience working in a data driven environment with the ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, from recommendations and action plans is required
  • Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
 
Qualifications:
 
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required with a preference in Accounting/Finance or related field. 
  • A Master's degree is preferred. 
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in Finance, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Accounting or related industry experience is required. 
  • Microsoft Office – Intermediate to Advance skill level is required. (For example, candidate must have proficiency to utilize excel charts, pivot tables and v-lookup).
  • Experience with Process Excellence, Lean, or other process/project methodology would be helpful.
  • CPA, CMA, CCE or equivalent certification is preferred
  • SAP AR experience is strongly preferred
  • Experience in performing financial statement analysis and risk assessment is required 
  • Demonstrated financial/accounting treatment expertise is required
  • Experience working in a data driven environment with the ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, form recommendations and action plans is required
  • Results driven with a strong ownership and accountability for deliverables
  • Problem solving skills, resourcefulness and intellectual curiosity; demonstrating a sense of urgency and agility in addressing tasks and projects
  • Accuracy with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and complete projects by business timelines is required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required
  • Strong ability to interact with and influence internal and external parties at various levels
  • Results driven with a strong ownership and accountability for deliverables
  • Strong collaboration and relationship building skills; strong spoken and written communication skills; ability to convey quantitative data and conclusions to business partners across functions and levels of leadership
  • Occasional travel would be required to collaborate in person with customers or business partners located at other sites in the US.
