Job Title: Field Service Technician
Location: Port Townsend, WA- Travel Required. Must live within 45 minutes – 1 hour. Mileage reimbursement for out-of-town travel
Duration: 1 year with possible extensions
Pay: $25-35$/hr. (depending on experience)

Job Requirements:
- Safety-oriented mindset
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and current vehicle insurance
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience working with industrial equipment
- Prefer minimum of 1-year experience in paper mill or similar industrial equipment maintenance
- Reliable mode of transportation and ability to live within a 45-minute drive of Port Townsend, WA
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills in dynamic environments
- Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to identify and address equipment issues proactively
- Proficient with basic computer software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Capable of conducting basic lab testing related to equipment performance
- Ability to work at primary customer sites in Port Townsend
- Willingness to provide occasional on-call or weekend support
Job Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maintain complex industrial equipment within hazardous production environments, with awareness of risks such as pinch points, chemical exposure, and heavy machinery
- Assemble, troubleshoot, and perform preventative maintenance on Solenis equipment to ensure optimal operation
- Participate and maintain certification in mandatory mill safety training programs, utilizing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when working on or near equipment and chemicals
- Support ongoing operations by managing inventory and ordering necessary Solenis parts and products for equipment upkeep
- Work 20-40 hours weekly with the potential to advance to full-time status
- Represent customer professionally on-site, collaborating with mill personnel including operators, maintenance teams, electricians, and instrumentation specialists
- Assist sales and technical staff in identifying and implementing new equipment solutions at customer locations
- Provide occasional after-hours support, including nights, weekends, or holidays when necessary
