Job Description: Field Services Technician – Control Systems
Pay Rate: $50/hr range with PTO, Vacation, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k
Position can be based in the Dallas, Austin, or Houston area.  Predominately Houston, favoring HTX market.


Responsibilities:

  • Installation and Commissioning:
  • Set up and commission control systems, including PLCs, SCADA, and other automation equipment.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
  • Perform regular maintenance and diagnostic troubleshooting on control systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Repair and replace components as necessary to maintain system efficiency.
  • Technical Support:
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients, addressing control system-related queries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Documentation:
  • Maintain detailed records of installations, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting efforts for future reference.
  • Training:
  • Offer informal training to clients on the operation and routine maintenance of control systems.
  • Safety Compliance:
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations while conducting field operations to ensure a safe working environment. Requirements:
    • Education:
    • Associate Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field, or significant relevant experience.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in designing, commissioning, and maintaining control systems (DCS, PLC, SCADA).
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting PLCs and SCADA systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Travel:
  • Willingness to travel frequently to client sites, including potential weekend work.
  • Communication:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
