Title: Electronics Manufacturing Technician
Location: Waukesha, WI
Duration: 12 months +        
Type: W2 contract (NO C2C OR THIRD PARTY)
Shift: 2nd / 2:30pm – 11:00pm
Pay: $31.90/hour


Overview

  • Join a team pushing the boundaries of medical imaging technology. As an Electronics Manufacturing Technician, you'll help build the next generation of CT detectors — ultra?sensitive, high?performance devices at the heart of advanced diagnostic systems. This is hands?on work at the cutting edge, where your craftsmanship directly shapes technologies that save lives.

Responsibilities
  • Build precision CT detector modules using advanced micro assembly techniques, working with components so delicate they demand absolute steadiness and care.
  • Execute fine pitch soldering, wire bonding, alignment, and adhesive application with exceptional control and consistency.
  • Inspect assemblies under high magnification, identifying even the smallest imperfections that could impact detector performance.
  • Handle fragile scintillators, photodiodes, and other sensitive materials with disciplined technique and unwavering attention to detail.
  • Operate state-of-the-art manufacturing tools and equipment, contributing to processes that are continually evolving and improving.
  • Perform electrical, optical, and functional testing, ensuring every detector meets stringent performance and reliability standards.
  • Follow cleanroom and ESD protocols rigorously to protect ultra-sensitive components from contamination or damage.
  • Collaborate with engineering, R&D, and quality teams to refine processes, troubleshoot issues, and support new technology introductions.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation to ensure full traceability and compliance with regulated manufacturing environments.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Exceptional manual dexterity and fine?motor control, with proven success assembling small or fragile components.
  • Outstanding visual acuity and comfort performing extended work under microscopes or magnification systems.
  • Experience in electronics assembly, micro?fabrication, medical device manufacturing, semiconductor packaging, or similar precision environments.
  • Strong commitment to quality — understanding that even microscopic defects can impact patient outcomes.
  • Ability to follow highly detailed procedures while maintaining consistency in repetitive, high?precision tasks.
  • Solid problem?solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving processes and new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical training or an associate degree are preferred.
  • Experience in ISO 13485, FDA?regulated, or other high?reliability manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with CT or X?ray detector technologies, optoelectronics, or photonics.
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing, SPC, or continuous improvement methodologies.

Physical & Work Environment
  • Ability to perform fine?motor tasks for extended periods with sustained focus.
  • Comfortable working in cleanroom attire and controlled environments.
  • Ability to sit or stand at a workstation for long durations.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. as needed.

Additional Information
  • Onsite / Monday – Friday / 2:30pm – 11:00pm (Will need to train on 1st shift for 2-3 weeks)
