Electronics Assembler (experienced)
Location: Elgin, IL
Schedule: 1st shift, 7:00 AM - 3:15 PM
Pay: $18/hr
Kelly is seeking Electronics Assemblers to join our client's team in Elgin. In this position, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and shipping radio communication and electronic equipment, ensuring all work meets established instructions and quality standards.
What You'll Do:
- Assemble or modify electrical/electronic equipment
- Read build documents and instructions to ensure accurate assembly
- Use light hand tools and perform basic soldering
- Keep your work area clean and organized
- Rotate between roles as needed and work safely
- 1–3 years of experience in electronics or electrical assembly
- Able to read instructions and use basic computer programs
- Good hand skills and attention to detail
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or sit through an 8-hour shift
- Reliable and willing to work overtime, including weekends
- Soldering experience required
- Team player with a positive attitude
