Description

Position: Electronic and Mechanical Assembly Operator
Pay Rate: $21.00/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm Position Summary:
The Assembly & Test Operator is responsible for assembling and testing electronic and mechanical components following detailed instructions and engineering drawings. This role maintains high standards of quality and cleanliness, supports process improvements, and ensures safety compliance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble components according to standardized work instructions and top/sub-level engineering drawings.
  • Test electronic and mechanical assemblies requiring strong hand-eye coordination.
  • Read and comprehend manufacturing drawings and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Perform inspections on electronic parts to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in line with 5S principles.
  • Utilize microscopes and computers during the assembly and inspection processes.
  • Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset by seeking opportunities to enhance processes and product quality.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and SOPs.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Familiarity with microscopes is preferred.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
  • Team-player mindset and strong work ethic.
  • Previous experience in electronics or mechanical assembly is a plus, but not required.
