To support both increased production and the introduction of new products, we are actively hiring Electromechanical Technicians to join the Systems Capital team. In this role, you'll play a key part in the assembly, testing, and validation of advanced surgical robotics devices that directly impact and improve thousands of lives every day.

Position Title: Electromechanical Technicians
1st Shift: 6AM-2:30PM, Monday-Friday
Hourly Compensation: $34+ (Dependent upon experience)

Responsibilities-Requirements:

  • Must maintain legible and neat handwriting in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP). This role requires accurate handwritten notetaking and completion of production documentation that is clear and easily readable by others.
  • Use a variety of hand tools (screwdrivers, torque drivers), precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers), electronic test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes), soldering stations, and computer software systems to assemble, test, and troubleshoot electromechanical assemblies.
  • Utilize advanced technical skills to build, inspect, test, verify, and document complex electromechanical assemblies by strictly following   detailed production and engineering instructions.
  • Operate and interface safely with manufacturing equipment, electronics, and advanced computer systems.
  • Adhere to and understand standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, history records, and other relevant documentation in compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Escalate and generate nonconformance reports when deviations from quality or process standards are identified.
  • Support critical engineering activities related to research, development, validation, and new product introductions.

Experience and Skills (Required):
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a technical or vocational manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to build and assemble complex electromechanical systems.
  • Proficient in operating equipment, electronic devices, and advanced computer systems.
  • Strong attention to safety, product quality, ergonomics, and environmental controls.
  • Ability to handle and move heavy materials safely using material handling equipment.
  • Minimum High School Diploma required.
  • Vocational training, technical certificate, or Associate's degree preferred.

Preferred:
  • Experience troubleshooting complex assemblies, equipment, and advanced computer systems.
  • Familiarity with various software tools and aptitude for rapidly learning new software applications.
