Kelly® Engineering is seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician for a contract-to-permanent position at global leader in lift systems and engineered equipment for the oil and gas industry in Tulsa, OK! Hours
3rd Shift, 8:30pm - 6:30am CST
There is unlimited overtime available for this position. Overtime is mandatory 2 Saturdays per month. Currently, most technicians are working 6 days a week.

Pay
$33.25/hour during the 90-day contract period. After the successful completion of the contract period, the hourly rate increases to $36/hour.

Overview
As an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in production equipment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in installing and maintaining electrical systems, utilizing hand tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment. As part of the maintenance team, you will perform corrective and preventive maintenance, ensuring the safety and efficiency of all machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems of production equipment.
  • Perform corrective maintenance, choosing the most feasible repair method based on blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
  • Install and repair electrical systems and components in industrial machinery, adhering to electrical codes and specifications.
  • Dismantle, repair, and replace worn or defective parts using soldering, welding, and hand tools.
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and systems.
  • Maintain the facility, including exterior/interior lighting, plumbing, and general building repairs.
  • Ensure the safety of operations by inspecting equipment and work areas regularly.
  • Exercise skilled duties in the electrician's trade, making decisions and interpreting procedures with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:
  • Technical diploma preferred or equivalent practical experience with four (4) or more years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in PLC knowledge and ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and test equipment.
  • Understanding of technical math associated with electricity, electronics, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
  • Effective verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience of four years, which may include related jobs or training time.
