Electrical Engineer | Cleveland, OH
Full-time with full benefits | Contract role 6+ months | Hybrid
Kelly Engineering is seeking an Electrical Engineer to help support our client's engineering team in deploying process improvements and integrating new equipment. In this role, you will apply your expertise in Manufacturing Process Networks and Machine Control Systems to support production facilities.
Candidates must have experience in heavy industrial environments and expert-level skills in Studio 5000, with the capability to write new code and troubleshoot or edit existing logic.
Desired skills and experience
- 3 - 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on process control and engineering
- Proficient in programming and application of Allen-Bradley PLCs, including RSLogix500 and Studio 5000
- Hands-on experience with HMI platforms—preferably Red Lion and Ignition; familiarity with other platforms such as RSView, Wonderware, or PanelView also considered
- Strong understanding of AC Variable Frequency Drives, with preference for ABB drive systems
- Programming experience in one or more of the following: SQL, Python, C+, or Visual Basic
- Experience with AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical is preferred
- Working knowledge of low-voltage power distribution systems up to 480VAC
- Familiarity with Industrial Ethernet Networks and associated communication protocols
