We're seeking a Documentation Control Records Management Specialist to work a contract role at a premier client in West Sacramento, CA. This opportunity could be the one you've been looking for.

Pay Rate: $22.31/hr

Hours: 7 am – 4 pm Monday - Friday

What's a typical day as Documentation Control Records Management Specialist? You'll be:
  • Developing, producing, and maintaining complex technical and user documentation.
  • Managing document reviews, approvals, and ensuring efficient documentation control processes.
  • Maintaining meticulous records of document status, outstanding change controls, reviews, and approvals.
  • Ensuring compliance with established templates, formats, and identification naming/numbering standards.
  • Maintaining and updating the electronic document library and QMS document inventory with relevant information.
  • Distributing, sorting, filing, and maintaining controlled documents and quality records in the Document Control room.
  • Processing requests for copies of controlled documents and coordinating off-site storage activities as needed.
  • Reporting progress in meeting schedule milestones to relevant departments.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Hold a bachelor's degree OR have a high school diploma and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a GMP controlled environment.
  • Have experience with document control strategies or methods in a GMP controlled environment.
  • Possess knowledge of MS Office products and are able to learn new systems quickly.
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Are skilled in using word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
  • Have previous experience with filing and are comfortable with physical labor such as moving boxes and bending to file documents (up to 30 lbs).
  • Boast excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Are a self-starter, able to learn quickly and require minimal supervision.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, meeting simultaneous deadlines while remaining flexible.
  • Enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams and various departments.
  • Bring an energizing, passionate, and results/customer-oriented attitude.
