Distribution Manager position to cover a LOA in North Scottsdale
Pay $48-$55 an hour
M-F 8-5 pm
Near the 101 and Princess in North Scottsdale
Must have Supply Chain and Logistics experience
3-5 years of Food Service supply chain, operations and logistics experience a must!!
-Work collaboratively with distribution account executive(s) to ensure restaurants are provided the highest service possible.
-Provide functional expertise in Food Service Distribution.
-Collect, assimilate and communicate Limited Time Offers, Seasonal Menu changes and Holiday forecasting implications to distribution partners.
-Monitor SCM Key Operational Performance Indicators weekly, monthly and quarterly including, but not limited to service level, unapproved subs, on-time deliveries and report findings to Supply Chain leadership.
-Accountable for Critical Item List, inventory levels and compliance within the distribution network.
-Regularly review inventory status of raw materials and work with distributor partners, suppliers and Category Managers to resolve issues as need. Effectively communicate to appropriate internal teams regarding identified issues and action plan.
-In the event of necessary product substitutions, gather complete specification/nutritional information, landscape and timing details and elevate to Supervisor, FSQA and Culinary leadership for approval.
-Maintain approved sub item listing as developed by Supervisor and Director of FSQA to ensure timely sub approvals when needed.
-Develop strategies for reducing obsolete inventory exposure and review with Supervisor regularly.
-Work collaboratively with FP&A team to identify items which will be promoted, assist in building an effective forecast model and communicate to the distributors in appropriate terminology and within necessary timelines.
-Work collaboratively with Director, Distribution Services & Program Management and Category Managers to devise supply strategies to support effective and well executed roll outs for LTOs, seasonal menus, etc. effectively overseeing the end to end process to completion.
-Maintain visibility to slow moving items within distribution platforms, research best options for reducing long lead times including but not limited to HUB programs, direct from supplier ordering, alternative distribution methods and alternative products. Provide options to Supply Chain, FSQA and Culinary as necessary with the goal of reducing negative restaurant impact due to slow moving status.
- Bachelor-s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Logistics or related field preferred.
- 3-5 years- work experience in Foodservice supply chain/supply chain operations/international logistics.
