Are you an experienced Control Panel Builder ready to elevate your career? We're looking for a skilled professional to join a growing and innovative manufacturing team in Rochester, NY. Pay: $24 - $26/hr (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Full-Time, Day Shift
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and Wire Control Panels: Follow detailed technical blueprints and electrical schematics to build high-quality control panels for industrial equipment.
- Use Precision Tools: Utilize hand tools (screwdrivers, wire strippers, crimpers) and measuring instruments (micrometers, gauges) to ensure top-notch accuracy.
- Test and Troubleshoot: Conduct thorough testing of control panels, troubleshoot wiring and schematic issues, and collaborate with the engineering team to resolve problems.
- Quality Control: Ensure all control panels meet strict quality standards before shipment.
- Maintain a Clean Workspace: Keep your work area organized and adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
- Document Changes: Accurately record final assemblies and any modifications to maintain precise engineering documentation.
This Role is Ideal If You:
- Have 4-6 years of experience in control panel building, electrical assembly, or a similar role.
- Hold a High School Diploma or GED (technical certification or degree is a plus!).
- Are proficient in reading 2D and 3D blueprints, electrical schematics, and control documentation.
- Know electrical standards such as NEMA, NEC, UL, IEC, and apply them in your work.
- Have excellent attention to detail and can deliver error-free work.
- Possess strong communication and organizational skills, and can work independently or as part of a team.
