Computer Operations Support Technician (Entry-Level)

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Overtime & weekends as needed)

Position Summary

We are seeking an entry-level Computer Operations Support Technician to assist with day-to-day computer operations and workflow activities. This role supports efficient use of IT resources by following established procedures, assisting internal users, and helping maintain smooth computer and data processing operations. The position is closely supervised and ideal for someone looking to grow their experience in an IT or computer operations environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support routine computer operations, data processing, and data entry activities

  • Assist with setting up PCs, desktops, and imaging systems for end users

  • Walk users through basic computer setup and procedures

  • Respond to basic system and hardware questions; assist with troubleshooting and tracking issues

  • Help maintain organized workflows, equipment, and work areas

  • Pull carts, use pallet jacks, tape guns, and lift up to 75 lbs as required

  • Assist other departments and follow standard operating procedures

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 0–1 year general experience; 1 year functional experience strongly preferred

  • Basic knowledge of PCs, desktops, Windows, and SharePoint

  • Comfortable using computers for imaging and setup

  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work under close supervision

  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
