Serving as the primary front desk contact for the Center for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
-
Welcoming visitors and responding to inquiries via phone, email, and in person
-
Managing student and guest check-in processes for drop-in hours and events
-
Maintaining a professional, inclusive, and welcoming environment
-
Restocking and organizing community resources and event materials
-
Creating and distributing promotional materials across digital signage, social media, email, and print
-
Maintaining website event listings and ensuring accuracy on institutional calendars
-
Tracking attendance, engagement metrics, and program outcomes
-
Supporting reporting through Excel or Google Sheets
-
Assisting with data visualization efforts when needed
-
Collaborating with DEI staff and campus stakeholders
-
Identifying opportunities for student development and engagement
-
Advocating for student needs and recommending process improvements
-
2+ years of experience in student affairs, community engagement, program coordination, or related professional work
-
Strong front desk or customer service experience
-
Experience with data collection and reporting (Excel or Google Sheets required)

Familiarity with Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud (preferred)

Experience with WordPress or TeamUp (preferred but not required)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team

A strong commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging principles

Onsite presence required for front desk coverage and community programming

Occasional evening and weekend availability required for events
